So many girls say thank you as they leave my class. That gives me a lot of hope!
As a teacher, I have many hopes for my students. To receive their gratitude is affirming in the sense that these hopes may be realised. Yes, saying thank you can be habitual but there are times when a nuance can be detected. Perhaps other teachers have felt the same after a lesson where everything seems to flow in synchronicity.
I agree Rob. Their gratitude is so much a part of our Sion school culture. I would love to hear more about how it gives you hope.
